The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has delivered urgent food assistance to the people of Mayfa'a District in the Yemeni Governorate of Shabwah.

Mohammed Al Muhairi, ERC Representative in Shabwah, said 4,000 food baskets were distributed to the needy people as part of the UAE humanitarian assistance programme in Yemen.

''The ERC will work to improve the living conditions in the most needy areas of the governorate,'' he added.
