The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, on Sunday distributed food baskets to the people of Daw'an district in the Hadhramaut governorate as part of the second phase of its food assistance programme in Yemen.

Representative of ERC in Hadhramaut Abdul Aziz Al Jabri stated the UAE relief agency's determination to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people in liberated governorates.

Lt. Colonel Ahmed Omar, Director of Daw'an District, thanked the UAE for its efforts to restore legitimacy and stability in these areas.
