H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, has said that the Flag Day celebrations represent a symbol of national unity, identity and belonging among all the people of the country.

Sheikh Saud was speaking during the Flag Day celebration organised by the committee of the 46th National Day celebrations in Ras al-Khaimah on Thursday. H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras al-Khaimah was also present.

The RAK Ruler and Crown Prince hoisted the UAE flag at Al Quasim Corniche in RAK with the participation of a group of children.

On this occasion, Sheikh Saud congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.
