The second day of the fourth conference of the Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies continued examining the root cause of concern among Muslims with regards to the wider society.

The three-day conference is being held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. It brings together over 700 Arab and Muslim scholars, as well as participants from other faiths to discuss ways of promoting a modern vision of Islam and drawing attention to the contribution made by the religion to global peace and harmony.

The day started with a panel entitled "Islam's Vision for World Peace," which was headed by Dr. Mohammed Mukhtar Juma Mabrouk, Egyptian Minister of Awqaf.

During the session, Dr. Mabrouk stressed that Islam is a peaceful religion that tolerates diversity and promotes co-existence among different cultures. He and the other speakers praised the UAE for hosting this important event and for spreading the message of peace and tolerance in the whole world.
