French Ambassador to Lebanon, Bruno Foucher, said on Tuesday that France had contributed to resolving the political crisis in Lebanon due its support for stability in the country.
The French diplomat's words came on Tuesday during a visit to MP Bahiya Hariri at her Majdalyoun residence.
The meeting had been an occasion to broach Lebanese-French bilateral ties, and the best means to bolster cooperation at the cultural and educational levels, especially in the city of Sidon.
The pair also discussed the most recent political developments pertaining to Prime Minister Saad Hariri's resignation in line with France's efforts to contain the crisis
