Future parliamentary bloc hailed the decision adopted unanimously by the Cabinet on Tuesday, pertaining to the commitment to dissociating Lebanon from regional conflicts and other countries' domestic affairs.

The bloc convened at Bay-al-Wasat today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Saad Hariri.

According to a statement read out by MP Mohammad Hajjar, "the bloc welcomed the Cabinet decision adopted today and the unanimous commitment of the government, with all its political components, to dissociating itself from any conflict or war and from intervening in the internal affairs of the Arab countries, in preservation of Lebanon's political and economic relations with its Arab brothers."

Also, the bloc hailed "the efforts made by Prime Minister Saad Hariri to reach that decision and to implement the dissociation policy in deeds and not just in words."

Moreover, conferees uttered relief over Hariri's reneging on his resignation, hoping that the government's work will be resumed in order to address the major challenges facing Lebanon
