GCC's assistance to Yemen contributes to improving humanitarian situations

Yemeni Minister of Local Administration and Chairman of the Higher Relief Committee, Abdul Al-Raqeeb Fath, has said that the relief assistance being provided by the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab Countries has reached all governorates of Yemen and is contributing to improving their humanitarian situations.

"The Yemeni government welcomes all relief and development efforts to alleviate the sufferings of the Yemeni people," Saudi Press Agency, SPA, quoted Mr. Fath as saying in a statement.

He added that the exceptional situation in Yemen necessitates that all should stand by the Yemeni President, Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi, and the internationally recognised legitimate government, and support it for the restoration of all provinces from coup militias and their ally the ousted Saleh.
