Lebanese Forces leader, Samir Geagea, maintained, following his meeting with President Michel Aoun at Baab

Lebanese Forces leader, Samir Geagea, maintained, following his meeting with President Michel Aoun at Baabda palace on Monday, that the issue of Hezbollah's weapons must be discussed, highlighting the obligation to limit arm possession to the state alone.

"The state must be effective, and Hezbollah weapons must be on-the-table (...) and restricted to the state; this is what I have discussed with the President," Geagea said.

"We also dwelt on key matters, such as the return of the Syrian refugees to secure areas," he said, adding that the Foreign Ministry must coordinate with the international community in that respect.

As to the dissociation policy, Geagea said: "There is a huge crisis on the Mideastern level and Lebanon's dissociation from conflicts should be through withdrawing from the regional crises."

"We will not leave the government unless we decide to do so; today, the settlement is being revised," he stressed
