Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Province in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has reiterated the deep-seated ties that the leadership and the people of his country share with the UAE, saying the two brotherly nations are connected by close ties and a common destiny.

These comments were made during a meeting the Bahraini Governor held with Abdulridha Abdullah Mahmoud Khori, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, where he also commended the ambassador's efforts in further consolidating cooperation relations between the two countries.

The UAE Ambassador in turn praised the governor's efforts to bolster UAE-Bahraini relations in various forums and levels.
