Following the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to distribute 4,800 housing units to beneficiaries in all governorates, the Housing Ministry started distributing the Hamad Town Housing Project’s units.


Housing Ministry’s Assistant Undersecretary for Policies and Housing Services, Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Haidan said that the distribution process was conducted in an organised way, which satisfied the beneficiaries, noting the “Hamad Town Housing Project” will contribute to reducing housing demands across the Northern Governorate.

He stressed that the “Hamad Town Housing Project” is among the projects currently carried out by the Housing Ministry within the 25,000-unit programme included in the Government Action Plan, noting the progress in the project reflects the efforts exerted in order to meet the aspirations of the leadership, and the directives of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, to speed up meeting housing demands.

He pointed out that he Housing Ministry had started implementing HRH the Crown Prince’s order last week, and will continue harnessing all its potentials to meet the citizens’ needs for housing.
