Prime Minister Saad Hariri surprised yesterday evening, New Year's audience at the Nejmeh Square in downtown Beirut.

"This is our beloved Beirut, which we want to see. This is Beirut, the jewel of the Middle East. This is Lebanon," Hariri said to the crowd.

In this regard, Hariri wrote Sunday on his Twitter account "New Year celebrations are a new testament to security and stability in Lebanon, thanks to the efforts of the Lebanese Army and Security Forces to achieve it
