The Vice-President and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Collection of Firearms, Hasabo Mohammed Abdul Rahman has lauded the Sudanese Journalists Union and the Bar Association for their support to the Firearms Collection Campaign scheduled to be Kicked off next, Thursday, at the Friendship Hall with the participation of the civil society organizations .
This came when the VP met, at his office, at the Republican Palace, the SJU and the Lawyers delegations .
The Chairman of the Bar Association, Al-Tayeb Haroun told SUNA that the Friendship Hall will witness, Thursday, the campaign which is organized by the Bar Association and SJU, describing the collection of firearms as right decision, referring to the necessity for spread of culture of peace and disarmament will maintain peace and stability in the targeted states.
Meanwhile, SJU Chairman, Al-Sadig Al-Rizeigi said the campaign aims at raising the awareness of the citizens concerning the dangers of holding of firearms.
