The Vice-President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman was briefed on overall situations in Gadaref State particularly progress of harvesting of agricultural Summer season and collection of weapons and unlicensed vehicles.

Governor of Gadaref State, Mirghani Salih said in press statements following his meeting with the Vice-President in the Republican Palace, Thursday, that collectionof weapons is progressing well in its first phase and that the State is planning to enter into the stage of forcible collection.

He revealed that a meeting set to bring together states of Kassala, Khartoum G azeria, Nehral-Niel and Red Sea aims to tighten coordination and cooperation in issue of collection of weapons to boost stability in such states.
