Ahmed Aziz, an advisor to the health minister, has been remanded in custody for four days pending an investigation into bribery charges.

Aziz had allegedly demanded and received a bribe worth four million pounds from a company selling medical equipment to help boost its sales.

He was caught red handed while receiving the bribe at the Health Ministry HQ.
