Housing joy for National Guard affiliates.

National Guard Commander, Lieutenant-General HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, patronised at the Sakhir Camp today, a ceremony to distribute certificates to the beneficiaries of housing units included in His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s kind gesture.

 

Held as part of the kingdom’s celebrations of the 21st anniversary of the National Guard, the ceremony was attended by Housing Minister, Bassim bin Yacoob Al-Hamar, National Guard Staff Director, Major-General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, Housing Ministry’s Underesecretary, Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and Assistant Undersecretary for Policies and Housing Services, Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Haidan.

After a welcoming speech, Lieutenant-General HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa presented the National Guard affiliates with certificates.

The National Guard Commander extended sincere thanks and gratitude to HM King Hamad, the Supreme Commander, for his directives to allocate housing units in the Bir Al-Dur and the Northern City to the National Guard affiliates, stressing that the royal far-sighted vision is behind the successes of the National Guard over the past two decades, which, he said, has made it a national military monument that contributes, along with other national authorities, to maintaining security and stability and preserving gains.

HM the King’s directives re-affirm the royal support for the efforts and sacrifices made by the National Guard servicemen for the sake of the nation’s security and stability, he said.

They also reflect the constant keenness of the leadership, represented by HM the King, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier to provide the requirements of decent living and housing for the citizens, he added.

Housing Minister congratulated the National Guard Commander, Staff Director and all affiliates on the 21st anniversary of the National Guard.

He also congratulated the National Guard affiliates who benefitted from the Royal Gesture, noting that the National Guard’s landmark achievements over the past two decades is a source of pride for Bahrain, given the fact that it contributes to ensuring security, comfort and safety for the citizens and residents.

The beneficiaries extended deepest thanks and appreciation to the leadership, led by HM the King, and to the National Guard Commander and Staff Director for the efforts they are exerting to ensure prosperity and welfare for the soldiers of the nation.
