The Interior Ministry has announced detours along the ring road in New Cairo after a water pipeline exploded earlier Saturday.

Traffic from New Cairo and Maadi to the Golf area will be directed to Corridor 90, said Adel Zaky, the assistant interior minister for the traffic department.

Traffic from Corridor 90 toward Down Town will be directed to el Mushir Corridor, he added. 

Traffic from Tagammu and teh Ring Road will be directed toward Cairo Festival City and the southern entrance to Taha Hussein Corridor, Zaky noted.
