International Security Alliance condemns ‘terrorist incident’ in Las Vegas

The International Security Alliance strongly condemned the deadly ‘terrorist shooting’ that took place on Monday in Las Vegas, and resulted in deaths and injuries to a large number of innocent civilians.

In a statement, the Alliance expressed its strong condemnation of such terrorist acts that detract from laws, religions and human values and norms, and called upon world countries to stand together and join efforts to confront all forms of terrorism, which has became a global threat to world communities. Moreover, the Alliance expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the U.S Government, people and families of the victims; wishing speedy recovery to the injured.

The International Security Alliance, which was announced in Abu Dhabi, to serve as a working group to confront organized and transnational crime, and comprises Italy, Spain, Senegal, Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as the founding countries, UAE and France.

The new Alliance aims to encourage joint action to confront the different types of organized and transnational crime, develop prevention methods and achieve sustainable security and stability for Member Countries. It also enhances opportunities for cooperation among these countries in police and security areas, while leveraging experiences and sharing of information and expertise to achieve security and world peace.
