A Palestinian rocket landing in an Israeli settlement.

Israeli warplanes on Thursday dawn launched eight raids on what they claimed was sites for the Hamas movement in various parts of the Gaza strip, under the pretext of firing a Palestinian rocket overnight which landing in an open area in an Israeli settlement in the Gaza enclave.

Witnesses said that Israeli warplanes bombed sites in Gaza, Rafah and Khan Younis cities. However, no casualties were reported.

Sources in the Gaza Strip pointed out that the Israeli warplanes targeted the site of the brigade near the city of Sheikh Zayed in the northern Gaza Strip, where it was bombed without causing any casualties but material damage to the site. Israeli aircraft also shelled the Qassam site with two rockets in Rafah and shelled the Qadisiyah site in Khan Younis.

The Israeli occupation army last night blamed Hamas for the fall of the Palestinian rocket, saying it would not accept Hamas trying to evade its responsibilities because it is the governing body in the Strip.
