Irrigation and Water Resources Ministry Mohamed Abdel Ati had a meeting on Monday with chairman of the Irrigation Authority Emad Mikhael and head of the groundwater sector at the Irrigation Ministry Sameh Sakr on measures taken to face flood hazards.

During the meeting, the minister reviewed with the ministry's officials flood emergency response procedures applied in areas susceptible to flooding, particularly in South and North Sinai and the Red Sea.

The Irrigation Ministry has set up a plan to face the flood dangers for the coming five years.
