Jordan, Hungary discuss military cooperation

Jordanian Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, and his Hungarian counterpart, Tibor Benko, have signed a military agreement to promote cooperation in the fields of exchanging expertise and training between both countries' armed forces.

According to the Petra News Agency, this came during Freihat's three-day visit to Budapest. He also met with the Hungarian Minister of Defence, Istvan Simicsko, and discussed with him scopes of cooperation and coordination in anti-terrorism and stability in the Middle East.

The two officials also reviewed a number of issues of common concern to the armies of both nations
