King Abdullah II of Jordan on Monday held a meeting with the President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen, during which they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Jordan and Austria, as well as a number of Middle East issues.
According to the Jordan News Agency, the meeting touched on efforts to reach political solutions to regional issues and crises as well as reviewing regional and international efforts in the war on terrorism.
King Abdullah warned of the dangers of "Islamophobia" and the marginalising of Muslim communities in the West, in order for them not to be used by extremists as a means to feed their terrorist agenda.
