Sudan voiced concern on Sunday over the deadly clashes that occurred in South Sudan's capital Juba.
President Omar Bashir called his counterpart Salva Kiir and his deputy Riek Machar and urged them to practice self-restraint and to contain the situation, said the Sudanese foreign ministry in a press release.
The armed clashes involved troops loyal to both Kiir and Machar. Several people were killed in the violence in the world's newest country.
