The Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) Orientation Directorate issued on Saturday the following statement: 


"LAF Commander, General Joseph Aoun, salutes and thanks all citizens who expressed in their own way their love for and trust in the new command. He wished upon them to remove all posters and signs of his person which were hoisted on the streets to celebrate him
