Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said realizing stability in Egypt should positively affect the Middle East region.
During a joint press conference Wednesday with visiting Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, Lavrov hailed the positive development in Egypt over the last year, especially accomplishing the roadmap whose last stage was holding the parliamentary elections.
Lavrov said he had talks with Shoukry on the conditions in the Middle East and North Africa, especially in view of spiraling terror and extremism in the region.
