Beirut - Arab Today
Egypt's Ambassador in Beirut Mohamed Badr al Din said Friday an Egyptian promotion mission in the field of building materials would visit Lebanon on February 28 to discuss launching a Lebanese Egyptian export partnership.
The mission will gather more than 35 Egyptian manufacturers in the field of construction materials, which represents 25 percent of total Egyptian exports, the ambassador added in a statement.
Badr al Din said that Egyptian exports to Lebanon have declined in recent years, expressing hope that the mission would help in restoring the rates back to normal.
He reiterated Egypt's stance on the need to end the presidential vacuum in Lebanon.
