Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc member Kamel Rifai on Wednesday warned that Lebanon would resort to the United Nations Security Council if Prime Minister Saad Hariri did not return to Lebanon by Sunday.
"We hope the Prime Minister will return before the Arab Foreign Ministers' meeting next Sunday, because this meeting is suspicious in terms of its goals and timing, and it may lead to taking decisions harming national unity in Lebanon," the lawmaker said in an interview with "al-Fajr" radio station.
"Therefore, Hariri's return before Sunday paves the way for an entente among the Lebanese parties to protect Lebanon from what is being concocted for it internationally," he added
