H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, today received Jean-Pascal Tricoire, Chairman and CEO of Schneider Electric, a French company specialising in the digital transformation of energy management and automation in homes, buildings, data centres, infrastructure and industries.

Sheikh Maktoum welcomed the chairman and his delegation and expressed his satisfaction with the level of cooperation between Schneider and the concerned bodies in Dubai, and its positive role in the implementation of projects in Dubai, especially at Dubai airports, Dubai Metro, Dubai Mall and other development projects contributed by Schneider Electric.

He affirmed the keenness of the Dubai government under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to provide all necessary logistic facilities to assist the company and activate its activities in the UAE and the region, through its regional headquarters in Silicon Oasis, Dubai.

Tricoire thanked Sheikh Maktoum for the care and facilities enjoyed by the company and its headquarters, and expressed his confidence and desire to promote and develop cooperation between them to achieve the mutual interests of both parties.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and a number of senior officials, executives and directors.
