Head of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish asserted on Wednesday that the Suez Canal corridor development project basically depends on enhancing sea ports at the corridor to be more profitable.

The main of the project is to provide job opportunities for youth nationwide, he underlined.

Welcoming a delegation of Misr International University led by the university's Vice President Hamdi Hassan, Mamish said the new Suez Canal is a gift from Egypt to the whole world.

The political leadership pays great attention to establishing national projects that benefit the current and future generations, he added. 

Also, Mamish expounded in detail the Suez Canal development project that relies on six main harbors, namely, Ain Sokhna, Al Adabiya, Al Tour, East Port Said, West Port Said and Al Arish. 

The project will put forward a number of industries that achieve highest return on investment for Egypt and the investor. The project's industries include petroleum refining, petrochemicals and auto assembling, he stressed.
