Ministry of Community Development to support stability, cohesion in Emirati family

Hessa Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development, has affirmed that the ministry would continue its efforts to support all members of the UAE community and develop services provided to them in a way that would help achieve satisfaction and happiness, as per the directives issued by the wise leadership.

The ministry will focus on the development of policies, legislation, services and initiatives provided to all members of society and will support stability and cohesion in the Emirati family, to which the UAE government is giving great attention, in light of the belief that the family is the cornerstone of the community, and the foundation for development, she explained.

Cooperation among family members will help crystallise UAE Vision 2021, achieving the national agenda goals that will promote community cooperation and family cohesion, and reach towards UAE Centennial 2071 objectives, the minister continued.

Buhumaid went on to say that the ministry will work to promote the role of family members and involve them by communicating views and ideas through the ministry’s social media channels or in person. This aims to support family stability and enables its members to live in a positive and healthy environment, as well as raise a socially aware and responsible generation, she added.

The ministry will adopt development plans that are aimed at supporting the cohesion of the community and strengthening the position of the UAE as a place of happiness and positivity, by promoting partnerships between the ministry and the public and private sectors, and involving everyone in community development programmes.
