Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Nasser Bourita has summoned the chargés d'affaires of US Embassy and the ambassadors of Russia, China, France and the United Kingdom accredited to Morocco in their capacity as envoys of the permanent members of the UN Security Council.
During the meeting, the minister expressed to the ambassadors the Kingdom of Morocco's concern about the intention of the United States of America to recognize Al-Quds as the capital of Israel and move its embassy to the holy city.

This came in a statement issued by the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation following the meeting.

The meeting was also attended by the ambassador of the State of Palestine to Morocco.
