Naval forces from Egypt and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) continued on Sunday to take part in the "Khalifa 2" drill in UAE waters.
A statement issued by the Armed Forces said the drill witnessed intensive training activities on carrying out joint operations.
Warships from the two countries carried out naval tactics day and night as well as training on how to douse fires in warships and confront enemy targets in cooperation with the air force.
According to the statement, the exercise, which affirms the depth of historical relations between the two countries, is part of training with armies of friendly countries.
