The number of resigned members of the Shura Council hit 30 on Wednesday after al-Azhar sent an official letter to the Council purporting the resignation of three of it representatives, including Dr. Abdel Dayem Nusseir, Mohammed Mehna and Abdel Hadi al-Qasabi. Earlier, two other MPs representing different other bodies had tendered their resignation to its speaker. Seven others had also resigned two days ago along with others.
