Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese received on Saturday, at the Abbasseya Cathedral, Speaker of the House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal who greeted him on Christmas.

The pope also received Planning Minister Ashraf el Arabi and Agriculture Minister Essam Fayed.

Manpower Minister Mohammed Safaan as well as Head of the Bar Association Sameh Ashour are among officials who greeted the pope and Coptic Orthodox Church on Christmas.
