A policeman died after succumbing to wounds he sustained during an armed attack on the Sheikh Zuweid police station, North Sinai, on July 17. The attack had left a non-commissioned officer dead and two others injured, including the sergeant who died today. The other injured policeman is in a critical condition. The Interior Ministry extended condolences to the victim\'s family. North Sinai has witnessed increasing attacks on police and army personnel since the overthrow of Muslim Brotherhood-backed Mohamed Morsi from the presidency.
