His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed that "bridges of love" have linked the peoples of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia long ago, and since the era of the late King Abdulaziz before the building of man-made bridges which have facilitated movement and transport between them.


HRH Premier pointed out that the two kingdoms enjoy a shared history, distinguished relations and constant keenness on achieving their peoples’ interests.


The Prime Minister affirmed that the achievements of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, in the transportation sector, especially in the holy sites, represent a great success attained thanks to the tremendous efforts of King Salman, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud, and the Saudi Government.


HRH Premier made the statement while receiving Saudi Minister of Transport, Dr. Nabil bin Mohammed Al-Amoudi, at his Palace in Riffa today.


The Saudi minister conveyed to HRH the Prime Minister greetings from the Saudi King and Crown Prince, and their wishes of abundant health and happiness to him, and of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its peoples.


The Prime Minister requested the minister to convey his greetings to King Salman and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and his wishes of abundant health and happiness to them, and of ever-lasting progress and prosperity to sisterly Saudi Arabia and its people.


HRH Premier welcomed the Saudi Minister’s visit to Bahrain, noting that it reflects the depth of the long-standing relations of love and cooperation between the two Kingdoms and their brotherly peoples in various fields.


The Premier stressed the importance of intensifying meetings between officials in the two brotherly countries to bolster bilateral cooperation and coordination across various sectors.


HRH the Prime Minister commended the efforts being exerted by Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of King Salman, for the sake of achieving complementarity among Arab and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and safeguarding regional security and stability amid the current challenges.


The Saudi Minister expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH Premier for his unwavering support for strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries.


He praised HRH Premier’s visions and steps aimed at consolidating joint Arab and GCC action, lauding the progress boom currently witnessed by the Bahrain in various fields.
