His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf on being granted the Shield of the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL) in recognition of his landmark contribution to promoting the traditions of peace, tolerance and diversity.

The shield was conferred on HRH the Premier, during an annual FOWPAL ceremony held in New York, on the sidelines of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly meeting in New York, the US.

On behalf of all the ministry’s staff, Khalaf hailed HRH the Premier’s noble stances in advocating the principles of peace, respect and interfaith co-existence and his dedicated contributions to regional and international security.
