Beirut - Arab Today
Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian, on Friday stressed that the Premiership and Dar Fatwa are both a red line not to be tampered with.
Sheikh Derian's fresh words came during a ceremony held in his honor in Dhour al-Abadiyeh, in the presence of scores of local dignitaries.
Sheikh Derian warned against the likely negative impact of the wage scale on the Lebanese economy, notably given the economic stagnation in the country.
He also said that all the Arab countries were threatened nowadays by the Israeli enemy, urging further cemented unity amongst all Arabs.
"Any destabilization in inter-Arab relations could have a negative impact on the Palestinian cause," the Mufti said, concluding that the Israeli enemy, not the Muslims, was the source of terrorism in the world
