The Qalubiya prosecution started investigating the violent clashes that erupted in Khosous city between a number of Muslims and Coptic Christians, leaving four dead and six injured. The prosecution took photos of the clash scene and sent the seized weapons and empty shells to the criminal lab for examination. It also assigned a forensic examiner to carry out an autopsy on the bodies. Meanwhile, Bishop Suriel Yonan, the pastor of the Saint George Church in Khosous, accused a number of unidentified persons of setting fire to part of the Evangelical church during the incidents. The clashes erupted on Friday night and kept raging until the early hours of Saturday before security bodies brought the situation under control. The clashes started after a number of children drew on the walls of an Azahr institute in the city but later escalated into a gun battle, a security source said earlier.
