Mohamed Farid Mounib

Assistant Foreign Minister for American Affairs Ambassador Mohamed Farid Mounib asserted that the recent attacks that took place in North Sinai will not weaken the Egyptian state and will not prevent the bodies of the state from practicing their roles in maintaining national security.

This came during Mounib's meeting Sunday with ambassadors of North American and Latin American states in Cairo.

Mounib termed these attacks as desperate, adding that the Egyptians will defeat terror.

He called on the ambassadors to support Egypt in its war against terror.

He reiterated that the recent terrorist attacks in Tunisia, Kuwait and France assert that there is no state in the world safe of terror threat.
