Public Works and Transportation Minister, Youssef Fenianos, on Friday met at his ministerial office with Information Minister, Melhem Riachi, with talks reportedly touching on a range of hour issues, including the tax hike law appeal.
On emerging, Minister Riachi said that they took up an array of matters, including issues related to the Information Ministry, as well as the recent annulment of the tax hike law.
"Unfortunately, I presume the salary scale is in real jeopardy.. We hope to overcome it with minimal losses," Riachi said.
On the other hand, Minister Fenianos met with Iran's Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammad Fatehali, with whom he discussed the bilateral ties and cooperation in the fields of transportation and roads.
Talks between the pair also touched on most recent security developments in Lebanon and the broad region.
The Diplomat said that the "Takfiri terrorism and Zionist terrorism are targeting the entire region," stressing the importance of unity among all regional countries to counter "this takfiri terrorism which emanates from the Zionist terrorism
