Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdullah Abdul Malik Al Shaikh stressed that the gracious attendance and participation of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa in the National Day celebration hosted by the Saudi embassy in Bahrain every year is a great honour which is highly appreciated. He said HRH the Premier’s attendance of the ceremony that will be held tomorrow morning marking the National Day is of paramount significance as it reflects his love and respect to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), The Saudi ambassador said the Saudi leadership, government and people have the same feeling towards HRH the Prime Minister, pointing out that the celebration which will be hosted by the embassy tomorrow to mark the 87th National Day will also be attended by members of the royal family, ministers, dignitaries and senior officials. He praised strong relations between the two brotherly countries, describing them as a model of deep-rooted historic ties which reflect harmony in visions and strategies as well as solidarity and common destiny. He also emphasised that Bahrain is an integral part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as both countries are bound by solid and ever-growing historic relations thanks to the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Saudi ambassador expressed heartfelt congratulations to HRH the Premier on being granted the Shield of the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL) in recognition of his landmark contribution to promoting the traditions of peace, tolerance and diversity. He stressed that his wise vision has brought about a lot of successes to Bahrain in development and improving citizens’ welfare. He described HRH the Prime Minister as a icon and a school to learn from in positive and constructive work and dedication.
