Palestinian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Basim Abdullah Al-Agha, has commended choosing Madinah as the Capital of Islamic Tourism 2017.

Speaking on the side-lines of inauguration of the event in Madinah he said: "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the heart of the Islamic world and its pulse."

In turn, Director General of the Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture in Istanbul at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Khalid Eren, praised the choice of Madinah as the capital of the Islamic Tourism 2017, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
