Prince Khalid Al-Faisal.

Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region and Chairman of Hajj Central Committee, said Tuesday that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would not allow using Hajj for any political slogans or trends.

Saudi news agency SPA quoted the Adviser today as saying "There has been calls for internationalizing the supervision of Hajj (pilgrimage), but the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has demonstrated - since its foundation to nowadays - that it has the capabilities and competencies to manage this holy Islamic occasion and to offer the best services to the pilgrims." "Through history, the pilgrims have never been provided with services like those offered in these years. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is providing these services in order to receive the reward from Allah Almighty and to perform its duties towards the Muslims who come to this holy place every year," Al-Faisal added.

Touching on the subject of Iranian pilgrims, Al-Faisal said that the Iranian government can prevent its citizens in Iran from performing Hajj, but it cannot prevent the Iranians residing abroad Iran. There are Iranians preferred to perform Hajj ignoring the prevention made by their country. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia receives all Muslims from different sects, and provides them with the best services that can be provided by a state for its guests.
