The Saudi Cabinet commended the decision of the Arab League to brand Lebanese "Hezbollah" militia a terrorist

The Saudi Cabinet commended the decision of the Arab League to brand Lebanese "Hezbollah" militia a terrorist organisation and condemn blatant Iranian interference in the internal affairs of the Arab countries.

Chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosque King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the session stressed the importance of the Arab foreign ministers' resolutions which "reflect resolve to combat terrorism and confront those who harbour terrorists and seek to fuel sectarian strife and subvert security and stability, in breach of good neighborliness and the principles of the Charter of the United Nations and the international law.

The Cabinet also pointed out, in this regard, to the Arab Interior Ministers' condemnation and denunciation, in their meeting recently held in Tunisia of the dangerous practices and activities of the terrorist "Hezbollah" to destabilize security and social peace in a number of Arab states. The session also backed the statement of the Saudi Interior Ministry in which it announced tough measures against people who have links with the so-called "Hezbollah".
