Saudi intercepts ballistic missile fired from Yemen

Official Spokesman of the Arab Coalition in Support of the Legitimacy in Yemen, Col. Turki Al-Maliki, said Saturday the Saudi Royal Air Force (RAF) had discovered the launch of a ballistic missile from within Yemeni territory towards Khamis Mushait city.
The missile was intercepted and destroyed without any casualties, he said. The coalition forces then targeted the missile launch site.

He added that the possession of ballistic weapons by terrorist groups including the Houthi militias pose a threat to regional and international security.

The armed militias continuous targeting of cities with ballistic missiles is the biggest evidence of their continued smuggling of weapons into Yemen especially through the port of Hodeidah which is under the control of the coup militias, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
