H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, has stressed the importance of the National Emergency and Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, NCEMA's, efforts to develop clear plans and strategies to confront crises, pointing out that readiness for crises mitigate its effects.
This came when the Crown Prince received today a delegation from NCEMA, headed by Dr. Jamal Mohamed Alhosani, Director-General of the authority.
Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi praised the role of the authority in coordinating with various public and private sectors to deal with the emergency, crisis and disaster situations, which is reflected in the readiness of society as a whole.
During the meeting, the Crown Prince was briefed on the authority's educational and joint exercises plans and programmes, carried out in cooperation with federal and local government agencies.
