Sharjah organises Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services Exhibition

Sharjah Economic Development Department, SEDD, has organised the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services Exhibition at its main headquarters, showing a number of products made by students from Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services.

The exhibition aimed to promote products and reflect the ability and creativity of students with disabilities, qualifying them to join the market. Also, the exhibition demonstrates the role of Sharjah City for Human Services in educating, training and empowering them. The products that were displayed varied between ceramic products and handicrafts.

Commenting on the exhibition, Abdelaziz Omar Al Midfa, Deputy Director of Government Communication Department at SEDD, said that according to the wise directives of Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, SEDD Chairman, the Department focuses on cooperating with social institutions due to the importance of communicating with the community.

He added that the hosting of such exhibitions in the department comes within SEDD’s concerns to participate in community events, and its efforts to interact with charities and humanitarian organisations, especially in the Holy Month of Ramadan.

He said that such exhibitions are looked on as an opportunity for employees to participate and carry out charitable and humanitarian work, to help the community groups that need support, as well as to promote solidarity in UAE’s society. In addition, Al Midfa expressed his deep wishes that the exhibition will achieve its objectives and expressed his gratitude and thanks to Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services for enabling the department to participate in such initiatives.
