In its statement issued today, the Shura Council expressed full support for the legal measures carried out by the Kingdom of Bahrain to protect its security and stability and to confront terrorist acts and plots aimed at harming national interests and achievements.

The statement welcomed the Military Judiciary judgements for the assassination attempt of BDF Commander-in-chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.

It hailed the security agencies’ readiness and efforts to maintain the security and safety of citizens and residents, which contributed to proactively foiling many foreign-backed terrorist plans.
