President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attended on Monday a cultural symposium at the new international conference center in the 5th Settlement, New Cairo.
The symposium is organized by the Armed Forces' Morale Affairs Department on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of October War Victory.
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Defense Minister General Sedki Sobhi and Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy was among the attendees.
A documentary film featuring the potentials of the new International Conference Center was displayed during the symposium.
The new center includes a 5,000-square meter-sized theater that accommodates 1,670 spectators and a round table chamber equipped with the latest of the art audio and visual technology.
The center also includes a 900-meter-sized conference hall, a 3D cinema covering an area of 900 square meters.

Gihan el Sadat, the wife of late Egyptian president Anwar el Sadat, addressed the symposium on the October War victory.
A documentary film on the role of the Egyptian people in building the Armed Forces to defend homeland was shown featuring a number of Egyptian actors.
The film covered the formation of the Egyptian army from the Pharaonic era till now.
The film shed light on Urabi and the 1952 revolution, the Tripartite Aggression against Egypt, the resignation of late president Gamal Abdel Nasser after the 1967 defeat, 1973 War, the re-opening of Suez Canal after the war and the 2011 revolution.
