President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued decree no. 311 of 2016 to commute jail sentences handed down to some prisoners on the occasion of Eidul Fitr (Lesser Bairam) and the July 23, 1952 Revolution.

The decree was published in the official gazette Tuesday.
